^^ There is a basic difference , may be u are a hypocrite or i am it does not matter to world , when a celebrity of miss world stature endorse a whitening cream certainly it matter to society and our thinking. Hypocrisy is that when a person won a title by advocating against colour discrimination , use the same thing to propagate whitening product. The reason is more than celebrity when one win miss world title from india for first time certainly many woman aspire to be like her and listen to a influencer . When she says white is perfect and u need this product for a better face certainly that influence both urban so also rural society in a big way.

1. Fair & lovely is having just the name fair , this ad bluntly says WHITE PERFECT and complete skin whitening cream. How much openness the ad need.

2. Regarding brand endorsement those companies pay these celebrities not other way around. They evaluate time to time which celebrity is fit for a brand as per personality , relevant , influence, and fit with the product. Just like a SRK cant endorse Pepsi for whole life. Just like katrina replace Ash in Nakshatra diamond brand .

its just chameleon quality that they change their colour as per situation demand. Just like to win miss world who speak about underprevilaged , blame man , speak about colour- who can look beyond the barriers that man has set up for ourselves of nationality and colour. the same person endorse whitening cream for few crores and no doubt may change the stance when she loose out any ad. Just like Amitabh saying against cola brand. Now she is fit for prestige presser cooker brand , this product-star endorsement is mutual benefit marriage not for lifetime, it is reality of celebrity and show business. 😆

Not only that, Aishwarya went to the Tyra banks show and claimed she never did fairness ads. Its all right that she changed her mind later on in life, but why cant she accept that fact instead of lying on an international platform?

From what I can gather, I think Aish would still endorse fairness cream if she wasn't replaced by a younger Sonam. It's a little fishy that she's against fairness cream right when Sonam replaced her. And the fact that she lied about ever endorsing them..shows she can't be trusted.

And lol at how cheesy and robotic Aish is in the ad.

At the end of the day we cant hold Aishwarya responsible for the products she endorses, that's her choice. PEOPLE are responsible for themselves, everyone has their own mind and brain and they can choose right and wrong for themselves. The fact that fairness creams are endorsed by celebrities it means that people WANT those products, and they are popular. Instead of blaming the stars, if you are so passionate about stopping fairness cream, why don't you find your own way to stop it? Its not her fault society is obsessed with it.

Maybe she did it for the money? I mean we have certain actresses who sleep around for roles, so I really think a fairness cream is a minimal issue. At least in my eyes.

And whats with this sonam jaap?. Are you guys trying to say that Ash is or was threatrened by SONAM? Do you realize how unrealistic and farfetched that sounds? Ash insecure of SONAM? Sonam is a nobody; do you really think India's biggest female star would be jealous of some star-daughter whose getting daddy to make movies for her? 😆

Sonam is almost a 30 year old actress and is still struggling to solify herself. You cant call Sonam a superstar...whereas Aishwarya was a BIG SUPERSTAR by age 25 and even bigger star into her thirties.

I think most are calling on her lie that she has never endorsed skin whitening products, she said that in one of her interviews.
