I didn't know he has done films also...just know him through his shows...I am watching Zindagi Gulzar Hai on the new Channel that comes...he's really good. The girl who comes with him is also excellent. I have a bit of trouble understanding the dialouges, but the story is so engrossing and the performances are universally excellent. Fawad is truly the star of the show!

I wish they would remake this serial in hindi also...though I fear that someone like Ekta Kapoor would totally crap it out and make it into a Saas-bahu fest!

yes ZGH is awesome poppy.. the girl opposite him is in saam saeed and she is excellent too.. but yeah for me , its him who is definitely the star of the show ( arguably ) , because i feel very few men can carry off such a stylish, and practical role onscreen when his image was already the greatets lover boy ever types.

Poppy, if u are having difficulties with the dialogues and language, i think the episodes are in youtube uploaded with eng subs also..

yes poppy , he did only two films and one of them is the 2nd biggest grosser of pakistan till date, plus he was the male vocalist of entity paradigm rock band back in home..

remaking a ZGH, or even a Humsafar is not possible, its near to impossible to recreate the magic here .. Poppy you can try some more of Fawad's shows, i liked most of them, including his telefilm behadd ..

His parents are from.U.P? You mean before partition.?
Before partition all pakistanis were Indians. So all are ancient Indians by genes?
Nothing big deal in watching Indian movies. I guess u r also watching indian movies. It does not mean u r not bangladeshi and turned into Indian coz of movies.

Someone worse than Ekta is remaking ZGH...Gul Khan. 😆 Harshad's new show Humsafars on Sony is inspired by ZGH...meets Geets meets Iss Pyaar. ...if I'm not wrong that is.

Way to kill everything about ZGH.
