Yes Deepika is lil phase but atleast she has/had one unlike Sonakshi who may never see that phase because now Aaliya,Anushka,Shraddha have left her far behind😆

Finding Fanny and Creature 3D Friday Opening Update

There are two new releases Finding Fanny and Creature that has arrived at box office today (Friday). Both film had taken slow to somewhat decent opening. Finding Fanny is little better than Creature 3D in multiplexes. Single Screen reports are awaited specially for later one as Finding Fanny has not much to do there.

Screening of Finding Fanny and Creature 3D is on similar range with around 1200-1300 screens each one has got.

Finding Fanny has 30-35% opening in Morning-Noon shows of Friday. Occupancy is decent but considering film has limited screening could have been better. Film started well in premium multiplexes and should do well through the rest of the day. Coming to normal multiplexes and single screens film has taken slow start there till last report filled in. With day progressing as weekend is approaching film should show growth and put up good numbers for later part of the day.

Creature 3D has taken poor to slow start at box office in Morning-Noon shows. Film is poor in multiplexes and single screens are now saviour which reports are awaited. Film has taken opening of 20% which could have been decent had film released on wide numbers. Limited screening and plus below par occupancy is not good news to start. Although day has started and as weekend is approaching hope film picks up big time in later part of the day. Overall till last report collections are below expectations.

As for Mary Kom 2nd Friday, film has managed decent screening and should put up good numbers for the day. Film started on slow note, but should show growth in later part of the day. Film has registered an opening of about 25% for Morning-Noon shows and that is decent considering film is into 2nd week.

Can anyone explain this to me now?

The same Arjun gave 100 cr 2 states just few months back and DP is no. 1 actress. And here we are, witnessing an average opening.
How can this happen? How does this thing work?

Does it mean if they had visited all india and promote, it would fare better or the script is weak or director^s vision didn't work...

although i know it will be in green anyway considering the budget but why cannot it reach 100 cr at the boxoffice?

Promotions weren't aggressive and I don't think any of the songs became popular. It'd be interesting to see the opening numbers though. Barfi had a limited release as well and people were apprehensive due to lack of dialogues, but opening was around 9 cr in 2012.

FFF is a niche film and also an English language one. You cant compare it to films like Gunday, Ramleela which were hardcore commercial films. Its to be compared more to films like The Lunchbox.
