It's not red, it's not brown - so what do you call it? Elitists would call it burnt red or brooding scarlet. The right term is oxblood and the colour it defines is absolutely gorgeous. A mix of brown, deep purple and red, while the colour made its breakthrough quite a while ago, celebrities (and we) can't get enough. From shoes, to clothes, accessories and lips, the colour can be used for absolutely anything and while black remains a go-to favourite, oxblood complements it like no other. Here are 5 Bollywood celebrities who rocked the shade just this past week.

1. FAWAD KHAN

This man can do no wrong! With just those oxblood Fendi shoes for colour,Fawad Khan is almost as stylish as his co-star Sonam Kapoor!

2. KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN

To get Kareena Kapoor Khan's glorious pout is the dream! In an otherwise muted outfit, she added a whole load of glamour to her look with her oxblood lippy.

3. SHVETA SALVE

Shveta Salve brought out the vintage side of oxblood. Mixed into a pale pink and some lace gives it a more Victorian edge and the matching shade of lipstick only helps accentuate it.

4. SONAM KAPOOR

Almost as if they co-ordinated their looks, Sonam Kapoor wore an oxblood coloured jacket by Karishma Shahani Khan and like I said before, she added the perfect colour to complement the black of her dress.

5. CELINA JAITLY

At an award show, Celina Jaitly wore head to toe oxblood and rocked it! So remember, no oxblood is too much oxblood.
