Is Anushka Sharma missing her ex-flame Ranveer Singh?
Anushka Sharma might look happy and content in her love life with Virat Kohli. But if sources are to be believed the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress is still missing her alleged ex-beau Ranveer Singh.
Informs a source, "Somewhere down the line Anushka has respect and admiration for Ranveer and this is proved by the fact that in her debut production venture NH 10 she has named the male lead character (played by Neil Bhoopalam) as Ranveer."
The source also adds that with the name Ranveer, the actress is looking for some added luck for the success of her first production venture. Explains the insider, "With Ranveer Singh, Anushka has delivered two successful films - Band Baaja Baaraat and Ladies vs Ricky Bahl. NH 10 is her first production venture and she might be looking for some luck by incorporating Ranveer as a name in her project."
However a source working on the project denied Neil being named Ranveer in the film, "I have been asked this question by a lot of people. There is certainly some confusion, because the name of the male lead in the film is not Ranveer but Arjun. Even on a lot of websites Neil is referred as Ranveer in NH 10. It's quite strange."
For the uninitiated, Sharma came on board as a producer later in the stage. The actress made a few changes to the project, one big change being dropping Rajkumar Rao (Queen fame) from the project and replacing him with Neil Bhoopalam. Is it here that she purposely changed the character name from Ranveer to Arjun, to save herself from the controversy?
