Well, you know how I've been rooting for a movie with these two - and the fact that they are fans of this iconic film makes it even better. I get what you're saying about mixing it up though.
I don't see any commercial, massy films that Varun has confirmed yet so if he's in this then it'll be a good comeback to the genre. Yeah, Arjun has Tevar but he also has better chances of being cast because of the Anil Kapoor connection and people on twitter have been campaigning like mad for him in the role. Let's see - I hope they announce the cast quickly.

well Arjun is going to be perfect as lakhan, for Ram..Varun, i think is too young to play older brother. Sid looks more like a Ram, Ranbir fits the bill perfectly.

Ranveer has the most energy for Lakhan but there's no doubt in my mind he will ham like no tomorrow. Arjun loves Lakhan but he seems half-dead on screen. He's better off as a creep like Parma.

Varun would be ok. Actually I love RL. They should have just let it be.

^^^I think the role requires a lot of hamming😆 I think Arjun is best fitted as he can ham when he wants to & he is Anil's nephew & audiences will be more accepting of him! And yeah KJO should have left this movie alone!😆
