oh I didn't realise Dhobi Ghat is in the options. Am I the only one who felt it was a complete snoozefest and had no story to it. I just didn't get it.

I don't think slow movies are your thing. 😆 You thought Lootera was a Snoozefest too. Which is fine. Not everyone has the same taste in films. I thought Dhobi Ghat was brilliant with its nuances. The scenes were carefully crafted. Lot of thought went behind it. The scenes where Yasmeen emotes her loneliness in those videos despite smiling and the way Aamir silently watches and relates to her was just brilliant. Yasmeen and Munna's scenes were my favorites. I rarely get to see such execution in Bollywood movies so I loved Dhobi Ghat.

I watched it in the theater. I loved it. I don't know why people think it's slow. I have watched plenty of slow films, this one was actually interesting to me.I think Lootera was slower than Dhobi Ghat. Anyway, I think on IF only me, Texan, Tally Ho and Maya liked the film because we were the only ones praising it back in 2011 when it released. Lot of people hated it if they watched it at all. 😆

Yeah. Perfectly put. The actors really did a great job expressing their emotions. I think Monica was the weakest link but even she did her best. The actress that played Yasmin was just perfect. I can't believe she had never acted in her life before. She was amazing. Whatever happened to her.
