Kajol's most iconic movies are with SRK and for him too I think. Most people remember a DDLJ and KKHH a lot but don't know much or any of her work which I think is a huge disservice to her.
Will she be talked about today ? Absolutely. If you believe in filmfare awards, she has the most..and not only for films with SRK.
Her best work is not with him, her most famous work is.
She was the first female villain I think in Gupt, This stars Bobby and Manisha. Won a Filmfare for this I think.
Dushman (where she plays twins, one who takes revenge when the other is killed. She is absolutely cold and scary in one and helpless in the other). Always confuse this with Anjaam which has Madhuri and surprise SRK 🤔 at self
There is a gorgeous Tamil film called Minsara Kanavu with Arvind Swamy (the Roja guy) and Prabhu Deva as a hero. 😆
There is an Anil Kapoor film which I forget the name of, but is a remake of a Telugu film. I am pretty sure she was nominated for a Film Fare for that.
There is a film with Sallu, just her and Sallu I forget the name again. One of my absolute favorites.
Fanaa is one of Aamir's best IMO. Was nominated a Filmfare I think.
The step mom remake, Welcome to the Family is a lovely film.
Off the top of my head these are the ones I can come up with without looking at her filmography and bringing in ones with SRK. I am not sure she has even 30 films in total, maybe that and 6 are with SRK and most are iconic, even the cheesy ones, so that is why her career seems so heavily overshadowed by it. But what she did by herself are why she is such a great actress IMO.
