Many people thought she had her turning point in Cocktail. But I personally thought she was terrible in Cocktail. Having said that, I have watched all three of her major hits from last year and yes she has definitely improved from the wooden actress days of LAK, BAH, BKB etc. She is much more expressive and modulates her voice a lot better. Her dialogue delivery could still use some help though.

i would have voted for 1st option, but i saw hny trailer today...n she was the worst part of that trailer

but she got much much more then what she delivered actually..thats why I called her the "born lucky" types.

yes I have seen this utter boring movie that too in theaters 😭
she was our typical wooden deepika even in that period drama, with a difference of wearing the costumes from 40s 😆

Yeah she has improved a lot and a different actress altogether right now. Honestly I didn't really like her back then until Aarakshan happened. I think a change in her acting happened during Aarakshan
