Ranbir, DP, Sonam, Imran: what went wrong - Page 2

Imran was going really well until he had flops...Gori tere pyaar mein hurt him a lot. Kjo was promoting him a lot until Gori now he has moved on to the younger ones. I am sure he will bounce back. But he has to reinvent himself and get a good PR. He is a good guy and that needs to be promoted. His PR should focus o. 'He is every woman's dream husband with a quirky sense of humor!'

And the relationship factor is true. Neither Sonam nor IK market their personal lives. I think they will remain like this. And I think it's fine. Everyone does not have to be in the rat race. People have different priorities in life!

imran need learn about giving expressions he has a frozen face

if dp and ranbir have been in the news for their relationship than sonam is no less she is in the news for her fashion sense and her foot in mouth disease. These 3 have always somehow been in the news for some reason or the other unlike imran. I think with sonam she has actually not done many movies and the movies she does her acting is pathetic besides the 1 with dhanush. I think she has 3 releases the 1 with fawad, than doli and than the 1 with salman if she doesn't prove herself in the salman starrer she is a gona. Bt I think she will and than let's see if she is as serious as dp or ranbir and whether she can continue and be serious about her acting. And as for imran hmmm I dnt know I always thought he would be in the top and after starting of so feel he has just not done well. I think that aamir needs to make 50 shades of grey and cast him in it I think aamir could bring out the best in him.

^Imran cannot play these Bollywood hero roles. He really needs quirky or simple guy next door roles. So ya maybe Aamir can find a script to suit his style! I like IK more when he plays men who are subdued and acts nothing like a hero (the soft guy, the geeks, the nerds, anyone who is a misfit) - a man trapped in the patriarchial society! I like to hear their stories and IK is perfect for that. But movie kaun dekhega? Even girls go for heroism!

At the end of the day you need hit films and that's that!

Ranbir is the most naturally talented, but he just works hard at it and very serious about it. He went to Lee Strasberg, one of the best acting schools to learn his craft when his last name would have been enough.

Imran was doing fine until last year. There's rumors and even Imran has hinted that Karan deliberately using his influence to get him thrown out of films. Imran is just not made for acting...he ends up being boring on screen. He's too "chikna" to play any mawali hero and is best when he plays a subdued character. Also I don't think he's manipulative enough for BW. But who knows, he might do better offscreen...like directing/ producing or something.

why hrithik and not abhisekh?
why Sanjay Dutt and not Kumar gaurav?

I think most of it is related to motivation, devotion and your interest in the profession.
Imran, Aditya Roy kapoor etc are those who are not about this profession. They lay low and they don't mind going out of bollywood. They have other passions.
Ranbir and Ranveer will rock the shows because just feel their vibe; they are good because they are interested in the craft, they are hungry. Ranbir is made for acting and Ranveer wanted to be actor since childhood.

I think Arjun and Sid will bow out too -- this is just my personal feeling that can be verified in 5-7 years time from now. Not that they are bad, but they are not desperate to stay in the field. Positive desperation helps, it helped SRK the most. He wanted to go top. He had no face, no physique but with sheer will power, he went top.

Sonam will not reach the top because majority of men don't find her sexy or beautiful. For actresses, it's the critical condition. Sad but true.
Most importantly, Sonam's age doesn't allow to go to the top when there are fresh girls like Alia and Shraddha . Again sad but true.

Deepika not naturally talented, but worked hard and you can really see the results. Wanted to prove her critics wrong. Ambitious. Still works hard and does not coast with success.

Imran was interested in the beginning and he seemed ambitious. But now I just think he is not into it like Aamir. He will work if he gets work, but will not be stressed

Sonam just fell into acting because of the family business. Perhaps she was serious in the beginning because she interned with SLB. But now It is just one of the things she does, she is like a butterfly or bee going from flower to flower, the flowers in this case being acting, fashion, even business ?. She is not really serious about acting or is she that talented IMO. She seems happy where she is.

Their level of interest and work has put them exactly where they are IMO.
