KJO again finalizes Kareena for Shuddhi - Page 2

Mumbai: Deepika Padukone has been consistently on the move, juggling her film schedule and fulfilling her commitment towards all her top endorsements. Wherever work takes, she is travelling to many countries, sometimes sailing on a vacation with Ranveer Singh on his film set. After all, she has worked everyday of her life ever since she gave her first shot in Mumbai film city for Om Shanti Om' and deserves all the love that she is getting from all her fans. However, there are certain reports that she has been surrounded by, more topical being the walking out' of Shhuddhi news, which has had a snowball effect in the media with constant speculations. In an interview with Film Fare, she, for the first time sets the record straight on Shhuddhi, leaving Fast and Furious 7 for Happy New Year and boyfriend Ranveer Singh.

When asked on why she left Shhudhi she was quoted saying, "People keep writing that I have left Shuddhi. Nobody knows what actually happened. I don't think it's right for me to say anything about a film which hasn't been properly announced yet. Karan (Johar) is a dear friend and I share a clear and honest equation with him. If Shuddhi comes my way and if I happen to be in it, then I will comment. Right now, it's complicated." She also said that if the makers want her to do the film, she will do it.

Also, she has been in the news for choosing Sanjay Leela Bhansali over Karan Johar. When asked to comment on picking Bajirao Mastani and not Shhuddhi she said, "That's not true. I haven't chosen Bajirao over anything. Bajirao was offered to me and I'm doing it. I haven't changed any dates for it. Why did I choose that? I just won my Filmfare Award for Ram-Leela. Why would I not work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali again? The experience of working with him was a spiritual one. He extracts the best out of you."

Towards the end of 2013, Deepika Padukone got a big break with a successful Hollywood franchise, Fast and Furious 7. However, despite initially agreeing to do the film, she opted out it to accommodate Happy New Year. She explained, "Yes, I did. Well, it didn't work for two reasons. I had already committed to HYN. Also, a major part of the movie was supposed to be shot in November in Abu Dhabi when Ram-Leela was releasing. And it would have meant not promoting it. Hence, I gave up Fast And Furious 7.

Even though she tries to keep her vacation plans private, social media has often caught her with Ranveer Singh, be it in New York or in Barcelona. When asked on why doesn't she accept her relationship with him she simple said, " There's nothing to accept. One needs to be sure of where you are headed and what you want with someone."

She confessed that she is not ready to talk about it yet, " It's not about being ready to talk about it. It's about not being ready to be in a fully committed relationship. I've been through a lot in the past. I've been though my share of heartache. I'm a sensitive and emotional person. Until, I am fully ready, I won't be able to talk about it."
