i think it's mainly because many other singers are fighting for music rights?

There is always one or two singers that are featured on every soundtrack. Whoever is hot at the moment, in demand, they will milk for as long as they can. Mika, Arjit Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, remember when Himesh Reshammiya used to be on every soundtrack. Honey Singh is just getting started...When you hear the same singer again and again it becomes mechanical, like these songs are just coming out of an assembly line. Somewhere down the line one or two songs will grab you otherwise it sounds like the same thing again and again. I just skim through a few seconds, if it holds up I'll hear it again otherwise let it be forgotten in the oversaturation hell.

i never had problem listeing to Udit Narayan and Sonu Nigam in every song in 2000 because they had herioic melodious voices and they were used to suit on actor faces even i listen suraj huwa madham, kal ho na ho, tumse milke dilka hai jo haal , main yahan hoon , haan maine bhi pyar kiya hai , dil ne yeh kaha hai dil se, Tere naam humne kiya hai jeevan apna sara sanam or songs of Janeman like sau dard hain sau rahatien i listen to it every day it sound as refreshing as it was during the song release but Arijit is different subject nor his voice suites any actor not he have a melodious vocals he have a husky voice which make u bore sometime when u listen it again and again , i agree mustfa zahid should get more chance he have a good tone

Arijit can sing only soulful songs and rn there's a trend for those, once that dies down I guess we'll be seeing lesser of him.

But that is your personal opinion. I feel Arijit has a wonderful, deep, melodious voice which sounds masculine. His voice blends well with most heroes and I feel that he is the best among the current lot.
Most of the male singers nowadays have such thin, shrill, feminine-sounding voice that I in duets I feel like I am hearing two female singers. Arijit is hugely popular, not only in India but also abroad. His recent concert in Dhaka was a huge success. His popularity dictates the number of singles he gets to sing. Otherwise he charges a huge amount per song which could have accommodated 3-4 songs by other singers.
The time for Udit, Shaan, Sonu are over. There is little point in harping over the past and accept that arijit is to this generation what the above-mentioned singers were to the earlier decade.
