Siddharth Malhotra Doesn't Believe Casting Couch

While Bollywood has always welcomed star children with open arms, occasionally it is also seen that someone with no family background in the business also makes a great debut and goes on to become very successful. Sidharth Malhotra, who recently delivered the 100 crore hit Ek Villain' (2014), is one of the latter. Malhotra admits that he experienced a lot of struggle in the days before he bagged his debut film, but he says that he never experienced the casting couch and personally finds its existence hard to believe.
"Even I have heard stories and rumours. But I don't know how true that is. I find it hard to believe that someone would put their money where their penis is. It's business at the end of the day. A lot of money is at stake. I have not faced it. I find it hard to believe," the actor told Filmfare.
After working as an assistant director with Karan Johar for My Name Is Khan' (2010), Malhotra made his grand acting debut with Johar's Student Of The Year' (2012). The actor will next be seen in Vikramaditya Motwane's Bhavesh Joshi' and Karan Malhotra's Warrior'.
