Hooli he can be really good when he wants to. Give him a good director and he will rock it. Abhinav was able to get that actor out of Sallu which arbaaz couldn't

Having said that I like his acting is d2 a lot. He was great is dabbang 1 and kick.

Now he's working with Shimit Amin, Anand Rai, Sooraj B, Kabir Khan, Karan M which is great as they are amazing directors

@Bold: this!!! 👍🏼 I think Sallu is a director's actor...you give him a good director he will astonish you! And top of that if its a good script...it motivates him even further!

Yes I agree with you, he's a director actor. Not only him but many top actors in BW are director actors. You know I can see same Sallu I use to see in 90s to mid 2000s, the one who care about acting. From past years, he was just not interested but now I can see him being interested in what he's doing.

Example is KICK, now he has amazing lineup. I am sure he will give his best.

Well it's not his best. But it's one of his best according to me. I agree Veergati is very underrated movie, I don't know why it didn't do that well. I loved that movie

Salmans characters is his USP and what is remembered about him, thus each person as a character they like and not necessary everyone will like the same. Me personally love most his characters , but the most memorable ones are :

Devil-KICK

Chulbul-dabangg

Tiger-ETT

radhe-wanted and tere naam

PREM- not character but popular name in movies, HAHK, HSSH, MPK, READY, and others
