After being rejected by Vidya Balan and Kangana Ranaut, Sujoy Ghosh has apparently taken his next to Katrina Kaif. This women-oriented film can be Katrina's big leap.
Post Kahaani, Sujoy Ghosh has planned a film on a Japanese novel, titled The Devotion Of Suspect X. For the movie, he had first approached Vidya Balan, but the actress refused it due to health issues. Then Sujoy went to Kangana Ranaut. Even though the actress liked the script she couldn't say yes for her chock-a-block diary.
Now, if reports are to be believed, Sujoy Ghosh has allegedly approached Katrina Kaif for the role. The actress, who has always been keen on doing a meaty role, has already heard the script. As per sources, she has even liked it and if all goes well, she might come on board. She will play a single mother, who accidentally kills her own husband.
Currently, Katrina Kaif is in London shooting for Phantom. The actress may take a decision on the film soon.
Many Bollywood actresses are keen on doing women-oriented films these days. Vidya Balan started the trend and now beauties like Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka Sharma and Rani Mukerji have joined the bandwagon. Katrina Kaif can be next!
