After watching KICK, I finally understand the above line sung by Devil. 😉
THE STORY:
I loved the film! I smiled, laughed, and cried. Direction could have been better, editing could have been better and of course, the first 40 minutes before Hangover could have been better. I didn't enjoy the bride runaway much. It could have been certainly cut short. Salman's entry could have been 100% better. Nadiad, learn something from Kabir Khan 😛 The initial scenes with Mithoon could have been cut short. Reminded me of Veer. 🤢😆 This is why I said, I prefer Ek Tha Tiger. Instead, they could have shown us Shaina and Devil's love story in depth because that I truly enjoyed.
Shaina and Devil's Love Story - I loved it! Salman and Jaccky really do have a chemistry. Shaina and Devil's love had some excitement to it that unfortunately, Nadiad didn't explore much. 😭 I wish he did. 😭
For me, If there is something lacking in Kick then it's really Shaina and Devil's love story. The confrontation scene between Shaina and Devil where she ends up crying saying "I'm sorry Devi, I am smiling, I love you" - I loved it. It gave me a KICK! Instead of the first 40 mins wasted, Nadiad could have added more to SHAINA AND DEVIL... in the beginning as well as in the end! 😒
Once Devi Lal Singh was introduced as Devil. My heart started racing. That's how INTENSE the story got. I forgot about Ek Tha Tiger. JUST WOW.
S A L M A N K H A N ... total one man show!!!! BRAVO Mr. Khan! I truly LOVED it. It was so racy! I always knew this film is based on DEVIL that Robs money like any other film, but did I know there was a message? A reason to his deeds? I was surprised, I was thrilled, I was happy, I was glad!
The dialogues were superb! "aedi se sar tak ka zor laga le" AHH <3
The action! I can't believe Salman actually jumped off that building by himself! That scene was amazing and it really was Salman doing it. Kudos to my man. Every single action in 2nd half was literally LARGER THAN LIFE. The whole chase sequences were amazing. Heart wrenching. Like you are trying to guess what will happen next and you can't conclude until it happens! Totally worth the money. Although I wanted more of the bike-helicopter jump 😭 you blink your eye and the scene is over 😡
I can't believe people are comparing KICK to Dhoom Series etc. Yes, both films are about robbers but once you watch KICK, you will realize what makes KICK different than any other film! KICK is TERRIFIC!
Yeah, Of course, no one in real life would do what Devi did to accomplish his GOAL, his KICK (reference to the mockery I read on this forum) but again, don't forget this is a BOLLYWOOD FILM, not a real-life documentary. So cut the bullcrap guys. At least KICK is better than the dipshit films Kick was being compared to, at least Kick had a message, a sweet and cute purpose.
Overall, like I said, the first 30 mins or so, I kept chanting "ETT was better, sigh ETT was better, this is lame" - but you know what, my final opinion is: "KICK is the best!"
My rating for KICK: ⭐️.⭐️.⭐️.5/5 (0.5 for wasted 30 mins, 0.5 point for not much of Shaina and Devil and 0.5 for poor editing)
Mr Khan: What do I say about you? I think your biggest compliment is that you made me cry. You look extremely handsome. How do you do it? Your hard work shows. Congrats Champion. You dance like a BOSS. You're French beard makes you a HOT MESS. The fact you delivered yet another message with KICK makes me love you even more. Let the world throw negativity at you... truth is, you rule every single time.
Your emotional scenes were 200% better than Jai Ho. And 500% better than your past work. This proves to your fans that you are just getting better with every performance you deliver. When you cried, I cried too. <3 You touch my heart every single time!
Your action was astonishing. You are astonishing.

Jacqueline: Jacqueline did a fairly good job. Will this movie be a turning point in Jacqueline's career? Maybe not. (I hope it does though) Jacqueline is very pretty, very sexy, very hot no doubt but there is still something missing. She performed well, but more hard work needed! Yaar Na Miley was HOT... ! Randeep Hooda and Nawaz: Nawaz is a great actor. Some people are saying why he did Kick. Well, so he can be known all over the world. Kick is a path breaking film for Nawaz no matter how good of an actor he is. He had a great role that allowed him to showcase his talent to even those who don't know him yet.
Randeep was an eye candy throughout. I was having lots of feels watching him. This man is sexy. I wasn't expecting Randeep to have a role almost as big as Salman. Kudos to Salman for having the heart to do so otherwise I know actors in this industry who try to cut of everyone else's role in the film other than theirs.
Also, people were saying "Kick will be a path breaking film for JACQUELINE" but now I disagree with that statement. If kick will be a path breaking film for anyone then it's only and only Randeep Hooda. [Nawaz included] Hooda has done some immense work that will bring him lots of success in the near future.👍🏼😳
