Salman did a period film Veer, it was quite terrible tbh.


Hrithik's looks suit such parts and I loved HR in Jodha Akbar so HR all the way. Akbar>>>>>>>>>Veer.

I agree that Salman has more fans than HR and even bigger star power but that fact itself doesn't ensure that Salman can do a better work in shuddhi. By that theory if we compare HR and Salman's last releases that is jai ho and krrish3, krrish 3 did better than jai ho. So it is not always about who has more fans, the actor needs to suit and look convincing in what he does. I still feel period and intense dramas are not Salman's forte, while Hrithik aces in this genre.

this movie will be made in a way to suit him per the director so i dont think we need to compare..

KJO and malhotra wouldnt have approached Salman if he didnt suit the role . Lets wait for the shooting to begin b4 judging anything . Salman looks fine in kick and he can get in shape for Shuddhi too

You can't compare jai ho and krish. Krish was a franchise and had a higher production value. Jai ho as a movie which was nothing compare to krish or dhoom in terms of production value. And yes let's not forget krish had a A lister and jai ho had a pathetic newcomer. Still jai ho made 100 cr plus that speaks about salman star power

Hrithik left the movie and someone had to replace him. From what I know shuddhi is a intense love story and Salman is really good at romantic genre.

This movie is gonna tank. This is not Salman's thing. His fans only like to see him in that machogiri avatar. Remember what happened to Suryavanshi and Veer? The same fans rejected it.

Well technically 2states and ek villian didnt earn more then jai ho by both taran and boi, they got higher tags as jai ho was sold at a high cost but budget in case wasnt sold be at 50 crore..showing how low production value was) ..but ye the production value wasnt upto par..and cast etc...
And i mentioned taalash aamir is a khan but it didnt do as expected

jai ho earning 100 Cr is not a big deal when films starring newbies like Sid and Arjun are earning more than jai ho which had one of the biggest superstar of India.

I'm not saying that nobody should replace HR but certain roles suit him better.
