BOI numbers are usually lower compared to others. But I trust them any day over Industry folks. Anyways, EV is a Super Hit.

It's amusing how Sid fans make fun of Varun's film despite knowing it's a success on Ramadan/facing competition with regional film and finally not having chartbuster album and mysterious trailer like EV!!! Ek Villain also had wider release. 400 - 600 more screens. Even with HSKD's success not a single Varun fan is crediting him for only reason behind the success.

Forget EV...compare Humpty Dumpty to 2States-same lead actress, same production house, same type of promotions, similar average reception to music...yet Humpty is nowhere close to 2States.

If you want excuses even EV has Ramadan period excuse too. From its Day4 Ramadan started. Till Day3 it was doing extraordinary. We havent given this excuse have we? So why apply it only to Humpty Dumpty?
