Hmm.. There's 'dum' in your theory. If not the hero, the production house probably keeps aside 10/15 crore extra for this ploy.

This isn't a theory. This has been done many times. it's probably even included in the production cost to hike the ticket prices. It's not so far fetched.

Yeah, I guess, you and the TM are right. Spending 10-20 crores extra is not a big deal for a production house. Then they take advantage of... of... uh.. Is domino-effect the right phrase for it?
