'Script demand' issue

You know I don't understand this "script demand" thing. The script is papers na that is written by a person? 😆 If something doesn't go perfect according to it, will they die or something!? Lol! Cuz I always hear "I'll do it if the script demands it." It seems like the script is a living thing that makes you do something, and if you don't, it'll eat you 🤣
