Some people do like his looks. And laidback style. In CNWK, people were asking him how he walks with that style. And even he was surprised people found a style in his walk. During a live phone call session with fans on Zoom TV before Raajneeti release a woman had gushed non stop on his eyes - Aapki aankhen kitni nasheeli hain. The fan could not stop gushing. Ajay looked embarrassed and at loss of words.

Ajay is not good looking but I guess there is unconventional vibe about him that some people like. His bike stunt in Phool aur kaante is perhaps the most imitated stunt till Dhoom series came about.

I like Ajay's acting, voice, expressive eyes. But hate his teeth. He looks the worst when he opens mouth to laugh.

Ajay's films do very well on TV. He had quite a base among masses, eg., Jigar grossed more than films like JJWS. I guess because he was one of the rare action heroes in 90s and only one with desi appeal - others were too urban or choco boys.

Fandom is a funny thing. Even Aamir doesn't have a sizable and vocal fanbase but look how his movies perform. On the hand other hand like Ash have a legion of fans but all her movies bomb.

And honestly the guy doesn't look great, but he he can certainly be appealing... Like in Gangajal, I remember having a crush on him... but his personality in real life, can be the issue.

Girl fans don't follow him cos he follows them 😆...

Jokes apart I think he is a brilliant actor when it comes to intense roles like Zakhm, HDDCS... I dislike him in comedies... He does have fans not like he doesn't but it's not hardcore fans like the Khans... He has fans who might be bigger fans of other stars...

If ugly ppl do not have fandom, then SRK, rajnikanth will not have too. I think he lacks that x-factor or appeal. He's a good actor and I used to like him till he started doing masala crap. Now can't stand him!

I'm an Ajay fan 😛
I love his eyes and I love his films.. He's a really underrated actor.

there's something about his eyes though
Also I love his dialogue delivery during intense scenes, he's got a very powerful presence 😳
