Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has landed in Kashmir to shoot for director Kabir Khan's film Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Salman Khan is in the valley for the last leg of the shoot of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. The schedule was slated to begin earlier but was delayed because of a flood-like situation in the state, which thankfully didn't come to pass.

Just a few days back, Kabir Khan landed in Kashmir to do the ground work and get everything set for the shoot.

Today Salman Khan arrived in Kashmir and was almost mobbed by fans and paparazzi at the airport. The coming days will see the actor shooting at the beautiful locations of Pahalgam and Gulmarg. Kabir Khan aims to shoot a song, a few action scenes, and also a war sequence in Kashmir. The schedule is expected to last a month.

More than 70 percent of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' has been shot on a variety of locations. After the Kashmir shoot, the film will move into the post production stage.

The post production work will have to be done just in time for the film to release on Eid in July.

Director Kabir Khan is running on a tight schedule, and can't afford to lose any time.

Srinagar, April 18: Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan Saturday landed in Kashmir valley to shoot for Bajrangi Bhaijaan, being directed by Kabir Khan.
The film also stars Kareena Kapoor.
He has arrived here to shoot the remaining part of the film which had been delayed due to the recent incessant rains.
The actor was given a traditional welcome at the Srinagar International Airport by the officials of Tourism Department and an event management company The Wings'.

Bollywood deva, Kareena Kapoor (Bebo) reportedly will also join the crew next week.
Kabir has worked with Salman in Ek Tha Tiger earlier and will work with Bebo for the first time.
"The film's shooting will take place at many locations including Pahalgam, Gulmarg and Sonamarg," a crew member told Rising Kashmir.
He said 70 percent of the shooting has already been completed.
"Shooting in Kashmir is the last leg of the shooting for the film which will finish in almost a month," the crew member said.
According to sources the film is based on a love story amid the war situation.
They said the director had come to Kashmir to shoot action and war scenes, and few songs in the Valley.
"Salman Khan has also made his schedule to spend some time for sightseeing in the Valley and to get to know the people here," sources said.
Salman is the third superstar Khan after Shah Rukh and Aamir to shoot in Kashmir.
Apart from Salman and Kapoor, the film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
According to police the actor has been provided Z-security considering his huge fan following.
