The shooting of Kabir Khan's film Bajrangi Bhaijaan was delayed on Sunday due to the extreme fan frenzy created by Salman Khan's presence in the valley.

Firstly, Salman Khan was greeted by thousands of fans at the airport when he arrived in Kashmir to shoot. Now, we hear that a huge number of fans gathered outside the actor's hotel in Pahalgam on Sunday.

The crowd was dispersed by the police, but it took hours to do so, thereby delaying the shoot.

To placate his fans, even Salman Khan stepped out and waved at them.

The coming days will see the actor shooting at the beautiful locations of Pahalgam and Gulmarg. Kabir Khan aims to shoot a song, a few action scenes, and also a war sequence in Kashmir. The schedule is expected to last a month.

More than 70 percent of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' has been shot on a variety of locations. After the Kashmir shoot, the film will move into the post production stage.

The post production work will have to be done just in time for the film to release on Eid in July.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is all set to begin his first ever film shooting schedule in Kashmir this week with Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which is directed by Kabir Khan.

Salman, who arrived in summer capital Srinagar two days back, is staying with Kabir and the other members of the film unit at the Pine and Peak Hotel.
