IF: Dhoom 3 is the worst film to have ever existed in mankind
Reality: Audience: "Wah! Kya film hai! mazaa agya! hum isko phir dekhne jaayenge dobara! 😃"
IF: All the big blockbusters (Dhoom 3, Chennai Express, etc) are craps that became huge hits just because of the stars in the film (they ignore the fact that stars can only bring the opening collections for a film, mostly everything after the opening weekend depends on audience appreciation for the film)
Reality: Public first came to theatre due to star power, and then made the film a Blockbuster because a huge section of that public enjoyed the film and spread positive WOM
IF: "I wonder how long Kareena Kapoor's role will be in Singham 2"
Reality: "YES! Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgan, Singham! The combo is back!! I will watch the film because of this!"
IF: SRK needs to do more roles like CDI, Swades, etc rather than craps like OSO/CE
Reality: OSO and CE get terrific opening collections, while hardly even a kutta comes to see Swades or the morning first day shows of CDI 😆
IF: Salman Khan films are crap
Reality: "Wahh! Kya mast film hai bhai ki!" 😆
IF: daily topics about Arjun Kapoor, Sushant, Alia Bhatt, Varun, Siddharth, etc
Reality: "kaun hai yeh log?"
IF: Amitabh Bachchan is a rude old fart who hypes up his good-for-nothing son Abhishek Bachchan. And everything about Amitabh revolves around his Silsila real life love triangle with Jaya and Rekha
Reality: Everyone acknowledges Amitabh Bachchan as one of the greatest actors and personalities of Indian cinema history
IF: Everyone only talks about the huge Blockbusters of Salman and SRK (ex. HAHK, DDLJ)
Reality: Audience talks about them too, but audience also remembers Sunny Deol taking out the pump in Gadar with his hands and hitting the bad guys, and remembering films like Sholay as well and it's many dialogues, scenes, etc.
