Why is Priyanka playing second fiddle to Deepika in Bajirao Mastani? - Page 5

Priyanka is a strong performer and she will be awesome in this movie too. Looking forward to her scenes with DP.

Whether she is playing second fiddle or not, she is going to walk away with all the praises. Priyanka is 10x better actress than Deepika will ever be

That's not a problem as both Mastani & Kashi Bai were strong women(characters). Main problem is budget. It's quite high.180 Crores! SLB Ka dimaag kharab ho Gaya hai lagta hai. He seems overconfident about his hit pair- DP-RS. He was able to show strong chemistry & all those chipku scenes in Ram-Leela but BajiRao Rao is a historic character. He can't go that way in BRM! He has to keep the screen play tight. That's the problem. SLB pays more attention to drapery & colourful background. On top of it,the hero will be shown bald😆

devdas had a huge budget as well. tht time over 50cr budget was considered huge. bhansali gambled and won. many thought his titanic would sink as the original devdas was a depressing movie to begin with.

you just never know what strikes at boxoffice.
