One of the shittiest movies ever made ... I am ashamed of the fact that I was one of the fans of this film in my teenage.🤣
Gosh .. as a grown up you realize how friends are friends and lovers are lovers (unlike what movie stated) .. movie's dialogue was pyaar dosti hai put the implementation felt like dosti pyaar hai 😕.. sick ... In reality, it is good to be friends with your lover but honestly, not every friendship (no matter how close) should be considered love. After this film, most of the guys (even gals) went around proposing to their best friends or trying to be best friends with the girls they clearly crushed on from the very beginning.😆 It's like even a pure and long lasting thing like friendship was screwed over for the whole generation. 😆

I liked how Kajol was sooo kool and such a chilled out strong woman in the first half .. I mean why the f**** would you change sooo much just for a a guy .. such regressive drama I tell ya ...🤢

Rani-SRK fell in love, got married, had a baby ..
Kajol met a nice guy Salman .. was getting married to him .. good na

BUT there has to be drama for no good reason .. it's like really? .. do you really think that a guy and a gal cannot be just friends? .. that is totally dumb and sick.🤢
Only if a guy n a gal flirt around would there be a chance of at least one of them (or maybe both of them) falling for the other. If you could be just cool and chilled, there can always and always be a very good/happy/forever types friendship without any awkward drama/heart break. 🥺
I've seen best friends getting married .. not because they realized they were in love with each other but they realized how compatible they are and how happy they are in each others' company .. that makes sense .. the drama does not makes any sense 🤬

Kids at impressionable ages should be banned from watching such puke worthy stories.🤣

This movie released when I was round 3 years old. So I did watch it years after it released when I was able to understand more. Anyways, coming to the point, I was so extremely disappointed with this movie because it was so stupid in terms of story-line and made me feel bad about myself. I remember how SRK only liked Kajol when she had long hair and when I first watched this movie, I had short hair so it made me feel ugly as a kid. And also, that crap SRK's character kept saying "hum ek baar jeete hai, ek baar marte hai, pyar bhi ek baar hi karte hai aur shaadi bhi ek baar "And then all of the sudden he see's Kajol in a saree and long hair and he is lured. I wanted Anjali and Aman. I love SRK but I just hated his character.

Oh...it's a damn good movie...it's kinda movie which for sure isn't intelligent or sensible at any level, but it goes totally for heart and emotions and brain hardly works. This is why there are so many memorable moments and no matter what one can still watch this movie happily and feel sad, happy, cry too, no matter if its the 20th time you are watching. Few scenes which one can't forget EVER, when that rain scene of srk and kajol(Gosh...even a bed scene doesn't go anywhere near that now a days) or when raahul says i love you to anjali and then it comes out he's gonna say it to rani..uff!!!

What a cheesy movie bt sooo good they just dnt make movies like this anymore. For todays movies we look for logic and sense when we watch a movie coz a lot of the new actors just aint as good as the old actors. The acting and the chemistry btw the whole cast was just amazing. Have to say didn't like tina much lol dnt get what the big deal was with her. Bt really salman and kajol characters should have ended up together

Exactly the part that bothered me. How he keeps saying Ek Baar, ek baar and bam he falls for her so suddenly and quickly. So I did some thinking and came up with a theory, yes I tend to overthink about why he would do that 😳.

So my theory is, here is a man who is a widower for 8 years. His mother repeatedly asks him to marry but he says he is ok and even his kid is ok. He is not even willing to do so for the sake of a mother for his child. He firmly believes in the Ek baar crap he spins. So why does he fall for Anjali so suddenly and quickly, in fact he is the one to pursue her. The bench scene, when they take the photos, he is the one who seems to make the first move, Anjali seems to avoid him because she knows she is love with him not because she is engaged but will never end up with him even if he is single now because of the Ek Baar crap.

The whole long hair saree thing I think is that his type is a girly girl, not a tomboy. Tina was a girly girl. In fact, Anjali plays basket ball now in a saree and he flirts with her. So why does he fall for her despite believing in the whole eh baar thing. First, though he says he is ok, he is obviously lonely and he probably never felt it or did not mind before Anjali came back into his life. She was his friend and someone who once had a very important place in his life, who understood him, so when she comes back he seeks her out to fill his loneliness and neediness. He likes how she looks now obviously. She obviously likes his kid and so that too is something that is in her favor. All these factors made him fall in love, but I don't think he really meant to fall in love, he discovered he was in love when he was in the middle of it.

IMO this line from Pride and Prejudice when Elizabeth asks Mr.Darcy when he fell in love perfectly describes how Rahul fell in love with Anjali
"I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look or the words, which laid the foundation. It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun."

Would Rahul have fallen in love with Anjali, even the saree wearing, long hair Anjali if he had met her as little Anjali's camp counselor if Tina was alive. Absolutely not. He would have probably hugged her as a long lost friend, scolded her for losing touch, but I don't think he would have ever fallen in love with Anjali had Tina been alive.
