I do not follow Akki's career or films so IDK about him much. But the Khans I know.

Aamir and Salman had blockbuster early success in QSQT and MPK, both career defining solo hero films where the success of the film clearly depended on the audience liking them and the chemistry between their heroines. 20 + years those films are still remembered as watersheds in their career. These films have repeat value. Even now they are still spoken about a generation later.

SRK became famous during Baazigar and Darr. Even non-fans who don't know much or anything about his films may know Ki-Ki-Kiran. This was way, way, way before DDLJ became the monster it still is running in a theater after all these years.

These three have had ups and downs, not at a smooth career at any rate. They have 20+ year careers. Aamir and Salman were starkids, out of the majority of the raft of starkids who failed, they are still standing tall. SRK an outsider, a freaking DD actor. Today he has a fortune rivaling HW stars not just BW stars.

Akki, outsider. Today he gives chances to outsiders.

There are and were people with huge openings, over night stars and then they fell. Let me tell you about one name. Kumar Gaurav. Where is he today ?

Even saying Deepika is a bigger star than Hemaji or Sridevi was because of 4 100 crore hits is bakhwas to me. Now this, Please.

Sid has a big opening in a film with Ritesh getting praise too. Not even the main lead. Is Udhay responsible for Dhoom 3 as well ? Talk to me about Sid being bigger than the Khans or Akki if he is around in 5 years.

If Sid plays his cards right he can be in the game, but bigger than Khans and Akki ? Please, not even Nawab and Ajay or Ranbir. 🤔

#Ekvillain has opened big! quite big...some websites writing, it's the biggest opener of 2014 crossing Jai Ho (correction- 2nd biggest but by a razor thin margin, note the fact that it opened in a lot fewer screens than Jai Ho). And he is just few films old and he has managed it! So, it appears he is a much bigger star comparatively when you think about three khans in their early days. Even Akshay Kumar didn't manage this opening with Holiday and Salman Khan's is almost equal.

Should opening day collection be the new benchmark for actor's star power? If yes, Sid is definitely a bigger star than Salman khan and Akshay Kumar already.

If they cannot match Sid's (newcomer) opening day collections, how can these big stars and their fans claim to be superstars?

Kismet mein likha hain who will be big. BW is littered with people who are talented and hardworking and who did not make it big. It also has people who are inexplicably huge stars. Rajnikanth is the biggest example to me.
