Uncle and aunty are polite words to call someone old.😉 It is not always about relations. 😆

Sir and Madam are polite and respectful ways to refer to a stranger. Not Uncle and Aunty.

You perhaps did not get the context in which uncle/aunty is used in such threads. Stars are not uncle/aunty for "strangers". The words are used to take dig at their age/looking old.

We do not know anyone personally to call them uncle or even sir!

Agree on Indians' style of referring to people but that habit is not in play here in such threads where stars are obviously called uncle or aunty as a dig on their age.

My comment was based on more of a general observation.

Having said that, do these dimwits realize anyone from 15 to 60 can be an "Aunty"?

I think it is a combination of factors..

First, out the younger stars that debuted after the Khans and before Ranbir who are Tusshar, Uday, Abhi, Vivek, Bobby, Akshay Khanna, Arjun Ramphal, Arbaaz, Sohail, Fardeen and a whole bunch of other people I am missing have either been decimated by the market or lost out due to other factord. The people left are Ajay who is fairly successful, but who is not a superstar to me, Nawab barely hanging as an actor better luck as a producer and Shahid with one foot out. Abhi is more or less ensemble hereafter. Only Hrithik even has a career to challenge the unholy trifecta.

The actresses who are their contemporaries are either married and raising families, being picky , plain not interested or the most idiotic reason become 'too old' 🤔 when all of them are younger than the trifecta Khans who are 47.

It is also I think something about the Khans themselves. SRK, Salman and Aamir have not had a smooth ride, we all know the reasons. But time and time again they have come roaring back and more importantly people have taken them back. There is something incredibly special in that and them. Though they are botoxed, wrinkled there is something in them that is just not there in the younger generation at least for me. BW just would not be the same without them.

Regarding topic i dont see it as a big deal as audience accepts the"khans" with younger women!!

Even ab sr, dharmendra, and at present rajni sir works with women younger to him and its accepted, and most young heroines dont mind it..so i dont see it as an issue!!

But yes whn omes to heroines once they martied or a certain age most males dont want to work with them, or directors etc dont cast them with popular heroes, and majority audience dont want to see that ( exceptions are there)!!
