OMGGG is that RoAya's Ek Villain review I just read?😆.I cant believe my eyes 😳.To say I am shocked would be an understatement but truely I am shocked out of my wits in a very very pleasant manner..I really feel like Sid has won an award for his EV performance after reading ur review girl! Trust me the best ever reward is to win an appreciation from ur hardest critic and Sid just won that.I really applaud the fact that u didnt shy away from showering praise on Sid when it was due..especially after all the fan fights that have gone down here,it really take some guts to come forward and state whatever u have written..Tbh I doubt I would've had the guts to admit if I was in ur place...But u did and that was really sporting of u ⭐️

EK VILLAIN Huge Crosses 51 Cr Nett Over Weekend, 2nd Best Weekend Of 2014
''Ek Villain'' was expected to take big start at box office and that is what happened. As we explained in our earlier reports, film had good buzz due to chartbuster music and trusted director. Film release across 2500 plus screens.
Film almost repeated the yesterday biz on day two. Film was simply humongous in Gujarat, Mumbai and central India. Though film was affected by Punjabi film ''1984'' in East Punjab yesterday but film had good growth in Punjab and surrounding areas. Film was super strong in east and south.
Film had super strong day one as film collected huge 16.75 cr nett on day one which was simply outstanding. Film was 2nd best to only Salman Khan starrer ''Jai Ho'' which released in 1500 more screens. Film started Saturday on lower note and there was a drop of around 15%.
But film recovered in a big way from evening onwards and that meant film had another humongous day at box office. Going by early trends, film should collect close to 15.15 cr nett. On Sunday, film was earth shattering everywhere and film should collect close to 19.60-19.75 cr nett.
Film has crossed 51 cr nett over weekend which is simply outstanding and film is heading for huge week one in proximity of 78 cr nett. Going by the pace of film at box office, film is certain to cross 100 cr nett maximum by end of 2nd week.
Film has collected close to 14 cr in overseas market and this can go up to 16 cr by end of weekend. This is monstrous hit everywhere!

Saw this film last night, the plot could've been more fleshed out but overall it was a good film, with great performances by Sid and Ritiesh.

Sid was the surprise package, I had written him off earlier after SOTY, thought he was just another talentless model, it seemed like his peers - Varun and Alia - had surpassed and left him far behind, but he proved me wrong yesterday, the guy did a brilliant job!, thought Ritiesh was gonna eat him alive the way SRK did with Sunny in Darr, given the nature of his character, but no, Sid held his own.

I loved the part where he breaks into the mental asylum? and the security guards are like Kaun ho tum?, and the Shahenshah dialogue plays in the background. 😆 But yeh he nailed his character and the emotional scenes. The guy has the height, looks, and the deep voice, something that's been missing since, well, Amitabh, and the potential to be big, hope he keeps experimenting. 👍🏼

Ritiesh was fantastic, soulless and heartless, reflected through his dead eyes, played perfectly.

The weakest link was Shraddha, her lack of acting prowess gets exposed in the scene where she pleads for her life to Ritiesh, she just doesn't come across convincing, the guy is about to kill you but you're crying like a little girl who is pleading for a lollipop from her daddy.

The tickets are sold out near a theater where it is playing near here in U.S. Go Sid ..🥳
