Saw this film last night, the plot could've been more fleshed out but overall it was a good film, with great performances by Sid and Ritiesh.

Sid was the surprise package, I had written him off earlier after SOTY, thought he was just another talentless model, it seemed like his peers - Varun and Alia - had surpassed and left him far behind, but he proved me wrong yesterday, the guy did a brilliant job!, thought Ritiesh was gonna eat him alive the way SRK did with Sunny in Darr, given the nature of his character, but no, Sid held his own.

I loved the part where he breaks into the mental asylum? and the security guards are like Kaun ho tum?, and the Shahenshah dialogue plays in the background. 😆 But yeh he nailed his character and the emotional scenes. The guy has the height, looks, and the deep voice, something that's been missing since, well, Amitabh, and the potential to be big, hope he keeps experimenting. 👍🏼

Ritiesh was fantastic, soulless and heartless, reflected through his dead eyes, played perfectly.

The weakest link was Shraddha, her lack of acting prowess gets exposed in the scene where she pleads for her life to Ritiesh, she just doesn't come across convincing, the guy is about to kill you but you're crying like a little girl who is pleading for a lollipop from her daddy.

Wow, Ek Villain was a great movie. And I am not just saying that. People, I had a great time at the movies and my American friend loved it to. He had no complaints. Ritesh was awesome, I see him in a new light. 😈 He was damn good as the villain. Mohit Suri is a good director. Siddharth, wow. ☺️ He has awesome screen presence. Reminds me of a young Hrithik. He has many years to go and I hope he comes in more movies like this. Shraddha was cute and bubbly, why are people being so harsh on her? 😲 Shame on me for posting that Dhamaka today, I should be banned. 🤬 Her role was limited, but she can pose a threat to Alia and Parineeti if she does the right roles. What is Prachi doing in an item number? I didn't expect that, she looked so cheap. Overall, this is the best movie for me since Queen. 🤗 I give it 3 out of 4 stars.

Damn, Siddharth has a lot of intensity and awesome voice. I wish he did a nude scene, but we can't have everything now can we? 😈
