Ek Villain First Day (Friday) Collection Early Trends. Bumper Everywhere.

Ek Villain has taken box office by storm on Opening Friday (1st day) at box office literally everywhere. Film has open good be it multiplexes or single screens and after that is just rocking till last report filled in.

Ek Villain opened to around 45-50% occupancy in Morning shows which is good considering film face value and today being working day. In addition to that film got wide release also. After that film showed good growth and registered 50-60% occupancy in Noon and Afternoon shows. From Evening onwards film is just rocking everywhere and registering bumper occupancy of around 80-90% specially in metros which is extra-ordinary for such films.

Ek Villain has reported many Housefull shows be it North, South, West or East. Film many shows for the day is already Sold Out which is just outstanding. Film has easily opened bigger than recent releases Holiday and Humshakals. Don't be surprised if film easily surpass first day collection of Holiday and Humshakals by a mile. Whether it can challenge Jai Ho First day numbers which is by far the biggest of 2014 is another question.

Though it is too early to make any predictions as major single screen data is yet to be received, but looking at trends film should collect in the range of 14-15 crore nett.👏 Who knows collections may come even higher when actuals are received. This is just mindblowing considering film star cast or film cost. Even trade, exhibitors, distributors are in pleasant shock with such fantabulous collections. Film is already heading for big success, with real weekend still to come.

Shraddha was just plain annoying in the first half. She went OTT. She was okay in the 2nd half. Sid and RD stole the show! And also Mohit Suri's direction...I loved the climax scenes...the way he showed the interconnection about Karma. Awesome!

KRK was good too...its time we should take him seriously! 😆

Don't watch it expecting it to be a love story... then you will like it.
