As for Talaash being only semi-hit. 3 Idiots did great business as well as got critical acclaim. So yes, people do expect something different from Aamir. Even Masala films don't guarantee sure shot hits. Talaash probably didn't any worse than Jai Ho if you take 2 year difference into account.

You named only 2 Aamir films? why not others? How many Aamir films u can name which will be in HIGHEST GROSSER list? just 2-3 or may be 4. While no one is stopping you from expecting, No one is stopping Aamir 2 do those kind of films... But if he do other films or Khans do other films, why to cry out loud? You can enjoy your choice of films. Why asking KHANS 2 retire if they do popular films?
