Deepika PCee bebo kat sonakshi, you're closing possibilities yourself. These actresses love acting and they would love to act opposite khans regardless of being married or not, my point is alia Parineeti shradha are not the only actresses alive on earth, the current actresses and senior actresses have advantage because there are khans who would love to act with them.

PCee is very much consistent, just because she didn't had amazing 2013 doesn't mean she is not consistent, every actor have good and bad years. Just because anushka is involved in production stuff doesn't mean she won't act, deepika always said she would act even if she gets married. Kareena will always be there and so as other actresses. My point is there will not shortage for actresses with khans, they can always approach Aishwarya, Kajol, Karishma, Sonali, Rani, Preity or can always go for Kareena priyanka vidya katrina deepika anushka ect

Yeah, they are staying for few years for sure specially Salman and Akshay, however , newbie actors also slowly and steadily making their way into BW,

Salman first movie as leading hero was a blockbuster, Maine pyaar kiya. He became a household name after that movie itself, and then that followed up with baaghi, sanam bewafa, paathar ka pool which were hits and then in 1994 he give two classics/ iconic movies Andaaz Apna Apna and Hum aapke hain kaun. He debuted in 1989, first movie was a BB and then in 1994 he give two iconic movies. Which was after 4 years of his debut.

Shahrukh first movie deewana released in 1992 which was a hit and then Srk give historic, DDLJ in 1995 which was only after 3 years of his debut.

Aamir first movie qayamat se qayamat tak was a blockbuster which releases in 1988 followed by his hits like jod jeeta wohi sikandar, dil hai ke manta nahi all wre big hits and then he give iconic andaaz apna apna in 1994 which was after 6 years of his debut

So khans basically give historic movies before they completed 7 years in Bollywood.

Salman's Debut movie MPK is ATBB, a Record which was not made before & also not made after this film... Still Unbreakable in male category... while before BOI Change, Sonakshi made ATBB debut with Salman only, now BOI has changed it to BB. 😉

To be blunt, this paraphernalia around Ranbir is just a product of Kapoors' anxiety to carry forward their legacy. It was okay when Shammi made it after Prithviraj and Raj. It hunky dory when Shashi had some initial solo success. But it hurt them when Shashi became just a sidekick to Amitabh and same happened to Rishi despite success of Bobby. They were hurt even more when Shashi's son failed and few years later the unlikely, the forbidden ones - Kapoor girls succeeded!

You read interviews or watch them! The men, especially, Rishi always talk of reviving RK banner. Rishi especially emphasised in Saawariya promotions that first time they are bringing a "male" actor from Kapoor khandaan and begged audience to give him same love.

They no longer enjoy the same power they had during Raj Kapoor's times. They milked his name to no end till 90s. But they need something more to survive in future as dynasty, no?

Hence this anxiety to project Ranbir as replacement to Khans, some new youth icon.

Success of someone like Hrithik and the huge rise in Roshans stature post that has also fuelled status anxiety in other film families.

Kapoors have had load of also rans since Shashi. They are itching to have more.😆

Now shoving even maternal grandkids in audiences' faces.

They should be happy RK has nice success and is no Abhishek. Their anxiety to announce him as new legend is irritating!

Ohh wow I thought it was ATBB but was not sure. So salman first movie was ATBB and iconic which is a huge achievement so my point is if khans can give ATBB BBS in their debut and can give historic iconic movies before completing 7 years then why couldn't ranbir?

This itself proves that ranbir was never at khans level and never will be

To the person who argued that senior actors are running out of actresses to star opposite them...I think you also said that, right now the senior actresses are Deepika, Priyanka, Anushka, Katrina, and maybe Sonakshi, etc? You also mentioned that they cannot work the younger lot like Pari or Shraddha.

I think that is underestimating them. Firstly, they have already re-written the rules of Bollywood, so i wouldn't say they would be bowled out so easily. Who knows, maybe when they are older they wont work in romantic films...maybe they will reinvent cinema and wont need to have a leading lady...maybe they will be in a movie like Sarkar or Paa where they have a role like Amitabh , where there is no room or need for romance...Or maybe in a movie where there is a need and requirement for a senior actress, someone will make a comeback...Didn't Hema Malini return with Baghban and Veer Zara for Amitabh?

Look at Amitabh Bachchan, he is over 70 years old an he is STILL working, and none is his movies have to do with romance. People still want to see him and appreciate him for his work. I can easily see any of the Khans go that route. They have the star power and fan base to do so, and they will probably do it better than Amitabh!
