Since, last three years, we have witnessed only successful masala type movies from Khans. I would like to see if they can carry something different genre of movies in future.

They should all do a multistarrer together...just to see if the can make a 1000 cr club and then laugh at everyone else who's stuck in the 100 crore club...š

I am shocked to read a balanced article from this Khalid guy!š²
Most of the times he is ranting with sarcasm dripping all over.I disagree Khans brought end to Amitabh Bachchan. He was already diversifying in other ventures and had started doing senior parts in his films too. After 1992 he himself bowed out. Signal was evident when he shared his best actor award with all young stars on Filmfare stage. A couple of crises and accusations had taken toll on him besides that fatal injury in Coolie shooting. On Khans, they are surviving because they are smart. They do films according to changing times. They try different genres. The opportunities and business sense they have and are making use of are helping expand their brand. They are lucky that there is stuff like botox, cosmetic surgeries and special effects etc, that helps them look younger. Stars in past only had basic make up and stupid wigs. Khans should be commended for taking care of their health too. Actors of past, especially like Rajesh Khanna and Dharmendra let go and one could see their paunch dominating the frame! Khans have knack for marketing.Often the undoing of a senior star is when he acts with a younger one in his film and the younger star overshadows him or ends up getting more liked. That is what happened when Sunny Deol did Darr with SRK. People ended up liking SRK more, rooted for him and liked him better with Juhi.Khans are clever enough not to work with young "rising" stars. They dominate the show or at best work with safe options like Sharman Joshi, Abhishek Bachchan. They work with new team of filmmakers, singers and musicians too unlike old stars who stuck with same Kishore, Lata etc.Why would audience want change when star, actor, lover, bad boy with good heart, intellectual type - all possible image are already there represented by Khans?I feel it is media that tries to put an end to an actor's reign by writing such articles and talking of so called change. It takes time when actor actually fizzles or bows out himself.I have never found Khans out of sync with changing times. There has been no drastic change in cultural landscape either that we need new face to represent it.Khans will bow out themselves. There is no actor yet who matches their pull. Many have been making a case for Ranbir. He has been here since 2007. Kya ukhad liya? Only YJHD came close to grossing what Khan films do. We'll see if he ever reigns or becomes a sandwich star like Anil Kapoor who had hits, talent but got sandwiched between different eras and stars!
