Aditya Roy Kapur to star in 'Milan Talkies'

Milan Talkies, an upcoming drama film produced by Ekta Kapoor has been in the news about its constantly changing star cast. After Pan Singh Tomar, Tigmanshu Dhulia is set to direct a pure love story.

The story revolves around a boy from from Uttar Pradesh who works in a cinema hall and makes pirated movies by recording the films as they are shown in the cinemas. It is a modern love story, where the lovers aren't able to express their love towards each other. The filming was scheduled to start from September 10, 2013, but due to the problems in the leading cast, it was delayed.

After Imran Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Varun Dhawan turned down the film, Aditya Roy Kapur is said to be the lead actor. Aditya has been praised for his performance in Aashiqui 2, and Tigmanshu was certain that Aditya would fit in the role. Aditya will start shooting for Milan Talkies after he wraps up Abhishek Kapoor's Fitoor, where he is sharing the screen with Katrina Kaif. Since Aashiqui 2, Aditya seems to be in demand with directors. The lead actress for Milan Talkies is still unknown. Due to the numerous cast changes, Tigmanshu Dhulia has moved on to another project, putting this film on the back burner.
