Rape, especially gang rape will not be reduced by prostitution. It us a hate crime that is carried out by a group that feels they can show their dominance by commiting this act and are even more motivated to carry it out because they know they can get away with it.

Akhilesh Yadav, clearly does not want it brought up at a press conference because it shows him up as an incompetent leader. Which century is he living in, if he thinks he can sweep this problem under the carpet.

For now, the face of India on the international news front is the likes of Akhilesh Yadav; and it is embarassing.

I think that no matter what the penalty is for those sick men who rape, this unfortunate thing won't stop. Those with such sick mentality will do what they please without worrying about the consequences. And it makes it worse when the police are part of those sick and disgusting men. How did they even get into their position? Such educated people can be cheap too!

I mean look at all the school shootings in the USA. We have strict laws here. These people know that the consequences will not be good for them. Hence half of them commit suicide themselves. But that does not bring those innocent souls back. It's a sad fact.

The best option is for the girls of India try to keep themselves away from the sick and disturbed. And this is no easy task. Women should never have to worry about stepping outside of their home and going about their daily day. But at this rate rape simply does not seem to be ending. So many cases have come about recently in India. I'm sure many more cases that are unheard of have been happening as well. Unfortunately it's a nasty world we live in.

Its happening every day everywhere, not limited to villages or small towns. Be it Delhi or Mumbai or down south, and the biggest problem is cops and politicians both don't want to register complains or take any concrete steps to tackle this problem. In fact, cops are the ones who ridicule victims or pressurize them not to file a complain. Death penalty would be good, but that would lead to the rapists killing their victims as happened here ... Just read this 😡 :

You need defence classes but also something for criminals. Normal people don't rape and throw acid to hide the ID of bodies or hang them from trees. These are sadistic evil people.

A life sentence then for rapists

What they need to be doing is employing more police and placing them nationwide. A lot of these criminals are just getting away dogging the police and running a muck

They end up dogging the police coz the police itself is involved in such things..like this another recent incident where police raped two sisters..also government is not focussing on these issues.. so many from government have made such disgusting statements about rape and women

I am having a mental block with what could be done to control this..its just getting out of control

India truly disgusts me!
I am crying right now, I am totally disgusted, and I FEEL SO BAD FOR THE WOMEN IN INDIA, especially all those who live in rural places, who are helpless.

I don't give a shit about the high class because they will never face this and none of them really cares.

Not saying all indian men are rapists but a big amount is, they got pathetic mentality.

Gang rapes are NOTHING NEW! it has been happening in India for decades and it is highlighted in films several times it is cheap and it needs to stop being romanticized in films.

NO WOMEN IS SPARED IN INDIA! be it indians or tourists, some months ago a 50 year old scandinavian tourist who asked some local boys for an address got gang raped by them 🤢

And the most disgusting thing is that even the government is part of this shit and the politicians are fine with it, the whole system is corrupt.

Even if I got a free ticket to the best hotel in India then I would still not go, I never want to visit India, it truly disgusts me.

I hope celebrities focus on supporting women rights as much as they can do, make sure schools are made, make sure women participate in sport and box and other stuff which learns them how to physically defend themselves.
India needs strong women organizations.

And a change will be made only when other women don't blame the girls who got raped, basically not just women but all the families needs to support these girls and stand up against these bas***d animals.

truly upsetting :(
