Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is currently filming Raees with Shah Rukh Khan said that it was a great experience shooting with King Khan.Nawazuddin Siddiqui has come up the hard way. After doing small roles, the actor came into his own showcasing his brilliance that has now made him the toast of the nation. For now, he has also achieved the rare distinction of having acted opposite all three Khans of B-town. Nawazuddin who is currently filming Raees with SRK said that it was a great experience shooting with King Khan.
"He has so much of experience. On sets, whenever Shah Rukh bhai is around, the environment becomes a nice one to shoot."
Nawazuddin also refused to compare the acting skills of the three Khans to one another. "Every actor has his own style of acting. We can't compare one with the other. Both are great and both are suoerstars. What I admire the most is the way they have sustained themselves for so long and that for me is something to see and learn about."
Talking about TE3N, Nawazuddin told us, "I have finished shooting for TE3N. My character in in love with Bachchan's character in the film. It was great working with Bachchan Saab. I got to learn a lot from him."
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has worked with Aamir Khan in Talash and Salman Khan in Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Kick.

After Hritik Roshan's film shoot, border district Kutch in Gujarat may see another mega film shoot, this time in presence of actor Shah Rukh Khan.
It is learnt that Shah Rukh Khan, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and actor Navazuddin Siddiqui will take part in shooting for their upcoming film Raees at Jiyapar junction near Gadhshisha and also at Nani Virani location on 2nd February, white Rann of Kutch on 3rd February, Khari river on Kodki road on 4th February, Kojachora near Vasant Vatika on 5th February, Mau-Dedhiya road, Poladiya-Ghadhshisha on 7 February and Loriya-Bhirandiyara area on 8 February.
Thus the film crew of Raees including its main star cast will stay in Kutch for a week.
The story of Raees is based on 1980s decade Ahmedabad based bootlegger and mafia Abdul Latif's life.

Shah Rukh Khan's one-minute Raees teaser has set the ball rolling for the film and the makers are planning to release another teaser sometime soon. That will also give an insight into the world of Raees and introduce the other characters of the film, including Mahira's and Nawazuddin's. Mahira grabbed eyeballs once she was finalised as the film's leading lady. But did you know she wasn't the first choice for the film? A source tells us, "The film is based against the backdrop of the Muslim ghetto in Gujarat and Raees is essentially a story of this man who becomes powerful. The heroine's role is also a prominent one " that of SRK's wife, a Muslim woman." So, who did the makers approach first? The source reveals, "Huma Qureshi. They thought Huma would fit the bill and also, they wanted a fresh pairing of sorts. But then they got Mahira on board because the character required the actress to have a certain kind of mannerism and lingo and being a Pakistani, Mahira totally nailed it." We hear that SRK and Mahira have filmed a heavy dance sequence for the film and King Khan is quite pleased with the result. |
