Q : Would you ever make a fictional period movie like LOTR or Hobbit? Ashutosh : Yes actually #MohenjoDaro would be in that space. Because it is fictional, there is nothing known about that civilization in terms of what happened or what are the people. We only have evidences of pottery, seals, lot of jewelry, beads which have been found, some farming implements. But not what happened. You can categorize Indus Civilization as pre - historic, no facts or history has been written down. So I like that, then it gives me the ability to go the LOTR way. But LOTR is more fantasy. I am not going into fantasy.

I had gone to Bhuj and saw the kind of sets they have made. Ashutosh has recreated #MohenjoDaro as perhaps it would have been. I think he is making an interesting film. - Javed Akhtar

Mohenjo Daro is for later, now, it's time for Spain

Hrithik Roshan will take a short break in Spain with his sons before getting back to work.

On the work front Hrithik Roshan has put things on a slow burner for the past few weeks. The actor suffered an injury on the sets of Mohenjo Daro that forced him to rest it out. He had to pull out from all his work commitments at the last minute. Hrithik has been taking regular physiotherapy sessions at home and thanks to his discipline he is now recovering gradually.

A source told this paper, "Hrithik takes his injuries very seriously and puts in all that is needed to cure them. After he hurt himself on the sets, he told the team that it would take him some time before he's able to get back on his feet. After several weeks of physiotherapy sessions, he is slowly recovering. He recently shot for a few other assignments that didn't require him to do any strenuous activity. It was an easy job, so he decided to go for it."

Insiders say that now the actor is preparing to head to Spain to shoot for an ad and he's taking his sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan with him. Once done with his work there, he'll go on a brief holiday with them before returning home.

Hrithik's absence doesn't mean Mohenjo Daro is on hold. A source from the team revealed, "Ashutosh has only a few days of shoot left with the actor and then the film is a wrap. With Hrithik on a break, Ashu is busy in the edit room putting the film together. Once the actor comes back from Spain he will finish Mohenjo Daro and then move on to his next project that is being produced by his father Rakesh Roshan."

If all goes well, Mohenjo Daro is aiming for an Independence Day release this year.

Hrithik Roshan To Resume Mohenjo Daro's Shoot This Week

Bang Bang actor Hrithik Roshan will resume the shoot for Mohenjo Daro in this week. The actor was on 2 months break, post his injury while filming an action sequence in January for the film.

This will probably be the last major schedule of the film and will be comprised of a song and few scenes.

In January, Hrithik Roshan had sprained his ankle and tore two ligaments, while filming an action sequence for Mohenjo Daro.

This shooting schedule will go on for approximately two weeks. Reportedly, the shooting will take place in Bhuj.

After completing Mohenjo Daro, Hrithik will kick start the shooting of his home production film Kaabil opposite Yami Gautam and will be directed by Sanjay Gupta.
