Nope .. I don't agree..before lootera I too had the same thoughts abt her..but she proved herself in that movie which makes me trust on her...ash has royal looks ,which is suitable for jodha (queen/princess) type roles😛

Lootera went untraced.. Many ppl still don't rate her in top 5 actress.. Regarding, Ash... Kya kahen... Bas tode din aur rukho.. Hum sabko jawab mil jaayega..

why does no-one mention the age group required? going by the little info we have, it seems they r looking 4 a young actress btwn ages of 24-26. this requiremt would automatically rule out all actresses xcpt Sona & Shraddha.

So Aishwarya Rai has finally picked her comeback films! The Devdas star, who took a break from the movies to have a baby, will return to the screen in Mani Ratnam's next, and has also signed an action movie titled Jazbaa with Kaante director Sanjay Gupta.

Ash will soon begin filming Mani's project (currently in pre- production stages), while Jazbaa is likely to go on the floors later. Her husband Abhishek Bachchan also has a movie in the pipeline with Gupta, Mumbai Saga, third in the filmmaker's gangster trilogy after Shootout at Lokhandwala (which he produced) and Shootout at Wadala.

It is no secret that Ash was being hotly pursued by her Jodhaa-Akbar director Ashutosh Gowariker to star in his next film, a love story tentatively titled Mohenjodaro , set during the Indus Valley Civilisation. But a source close to Gowariker reveals that she didn't feel comfortable committing to the project till the director had a male lead cast and locked into the project.

Although neither Disney UTV nor Ashutosh Gowariker has made a formal announcement, news in the film trade is that after the success of Jodhaa Akbar, they have decided to work together again. And that includes Hrithik Roshan too, the actor who was the leading man in Jodhaa Akbar.

The new venture in question is Gowariker's next Mohanjo Daro, which is expected to go on the floors in the last quarter of the year. We hear that the deal between UTV and Gowariker is worth Rs 125 crore and the corporate house will hold all the rights to exploit the film, including the IPR. Interesting, isn't it?
