Changed Saif Ali Khan

It is said that Saif Ali Khan has decided to keep a low profile and only opt for films he's convinced about. No wonder, he's been lying low. There's also talk that a movie he had signed with Reliance Entertainment and being directed by Prabhu Dheva is not working out. Now we hear that Khan had recently given director duo Abbas-Mustan the green signal for one of their next being produced by Sunir Khetarpal. Now we hear the actor has decided not to do this film either.

Interesting, isn't it?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------COUNT ANOTHER DAY

Saif Ali Khan's desi adaptation of the Alexander Dumas novel has been pushed to 2015 following a sudden outbreak of clones

On March 20, Mirror broke the news that the Nawab of Pataudi would play the Count in a desi adaptation of the Alexandre Dumas' 1844 literary classic, The Count of Monte Cristo. The film about love, treachery and revenge was to be directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced by Sunir Kheterpal's Azure Entertainment. Pointing out that the story and screenplay would not follow the novel to a tee, Mustan had revealed that they had given Saif Ali Khan a one-and-a-half hour narration before he left for Mauritius to shoot Humshakals and upon his return presented him with a bound script.

They were waiting for the actor to return to Mumbai from 's Chandigarh schedule, to decide on the leading lady and work out the other details. But now it seems that the yet-untitled project, which was to release in 2015, will only roll next year. Sunir confirmed this saying, "Yes, the project has been pushed forward because Saif has a couple of films lined up which he has to wrap up first. There was a date issue over his ongoing commitments and hence we've decided to start only next year." So is this the end of the Count story? Not yet. Buzz is, a TV adaptation of the Dumas novel is in the offing and this has thrown a spanner in the film. Also, with Edmond Dants's story also being scripted by Michael Robert Johnson for Constantin Film's (they had earlier adapted Dumas's The Three Musketeers) Hollywood production to be directed by Batman writer David Goyer, the subject already seems over-exploited. As of now, Abbas-Mustaan will probably concentrate on a murder mystery starring Big B and leave the Nawab and the Count for another day. Saif and Abbas-Mustan chose not to respond to our message.

He should avoid action thrillers and Sajid Khan comedies. He needs to do Shakun Batra and that Excel production film.

I really want him to be in Batra's next, he has a lot of projects attached to his name atm. I hope he picks carefully and stays away from masala films like Bullet Raja, they just don't suit him.

There is a lot of competition now. I am glad that he is thinking about the movies he is doing. I hope Akshay also thinks before he sign movies. Because there is a really tough competition.
I feel even Khans and HR are being very choosy about the projects they are doing.

Anybody who is doing a movie with sajid khan should take a break and rethink his career.. Lol so not blaming saif Ali khan

I actually am not sure why agent Vinod didn't work for him.. I actually liked the movie.. I actually wanted it a bit short but I thought saif did a good job..

Yes he should defiantly make go Goa gone 2.. It was a great movie..

He should do romantic comedies like Hum Tum or Salaam Namaste. He's really good with urban-comedies and romance too. Please, never do lame slapstick like Sajid's ever!
