What happened to being happy with the way she is? Didn't quite work out Sona did it?

She went against her own statements. No denying that either.

Sonakshi looks awesome with the weight loss. She was always beautiful but by shedding a few pounds she looks even better. I agree, it is hypocritical of her to have said that she would never wear short skirts/shorts or whatever and now after losing weight she in fact is...but the the truth of the matter is Sonakshi has always been targeted for her weight. In every interview I've read of hers since her debut, she has always been asked about her weight. I'm sure all of us would get flustered and annoyed about having to discuss our weight more than anything else in every other interview. I don't blame her for reacting the way she did earlier. I also don't blame her for choosing to lose weight now and wear the clothes that fit her current body type. Bollywood is an extremely superficial industry..it's very rare for an actor/actress (in particular) to be in the limelight regardless of their physical appearance. Would it have been better had Sonakshi not said anything about skinny minnies etc? Yeah, it would have..but, I personally don't think she meant it to degrade anyone else..I really do think with the pressure that surrounded her in regards to her weight ..it all just made her say whatever she said. Parineeti has been trying to lose weight since forever..and this girl probably didn't have to as her performances have always helped her do the talking..yet physical appearance really matters. Heck, Parineeti has even started showing cleavage and whatnot after shedding some weight..

I don't really get what the big deal is? Peoples' opinions and thoughts change all the time - so what if she has decided to lose weight and wear shorter clothes? She's not committing a crime, she looks hot man 😆 I don't even think it's hypocritical 😕 It's not like she's STILL going on about how she doesn't need to lose weight' or she doesn't/won't wear short clothes - now THAT would be hypocritical, but in recent times I haven't seen her make these statements.

A hypocrite is a hypocrite. No use in saying 'all stars say such things', 'she shouldn't be blamed because she has been always targeted for her weight', etc.

I might have loved her in Lootera and was ready to fight with award committees for not giving her an award for Lootera but one Lootera < all her hypocritical statements, crappy films and her over the top acting in the Holiday trailer.

It's not about wearing short clothes or not, it's about using her father and family and projecting herself as the stereotypical sanskaari bhartiya nari to the media which is hypocritical.

Is it compulsory to wear short clothes and flaunt your figure once you loose some weight?
