Currently he is shooting for John Abraham's movie .

It is bound to be successful under John 's PH

Wherever Barun has reached now his own effort .From DMG to IPK. and now BW.

He is still quite young he can take risk .

I wonder why people keep saying he should stick to TV .

He is much better looker and actor than most of the actors in BW

Honestly I would love to See Barun and Sanaya movie as lead .

They are awesome together

Amazing chemistry and both are great lookers

Saying Rajeev a failure is absolutely wrong. He's in the industry, and is being appreciated. I don't think I even have to say anything about acting talent... The only thing he has done wrong is probably his movies selection. While if SRK or Aamir had done a movie like aamir, it'd had definitely nominated for Oscar...however Rajeev is doing well, but yes he deserves much more...and I hope he does better in future in BW. But in any case he's definitely not a failure at all. Not everyone from tv can survive in BW...their are so many BW khandans and unke rishtedaar all around, so he's doing fine, but he can and deserves a lot more.

If a tv actors dream to make it in Bollywood, then what's the problem. Industry is not only for these so called star kids who can't even act. Not a fangirl but yes I don't hesitate to say that Barun Sobti is a good actor. At least better than this Sid, Varun😆 If these tv actors had one Karan Johar behind them then who knows! And if actresses can come back to tv after playing small side roles then what's the problem for actors? If they fail in Bollywood, tellyworld will always wait for them.😆

The problem why TV actors aren't as successful in BW as other BW actors is only two things

1) They are not offered the right scripts. TV actors don't have that luxury to choose good scripts and have to take whatever they are offered, just to step into BW.

2) No big production house reaches out to them. Only Big production houses have the capacity for big budget movies, and higher the budget, the better the movies are, compared to very low budgets.

So taking these both factors, the TV actors end up being shown in a pathetic light.

It is never that these TV actors don't have talent. They do have and that's why they are immensely popular.

See how Sushant became popular. He had a strong script offered for his first movie, plus a big production house was backing him, so the end product was a good movie.

When Rajeev Khandelwal started out in BW, even he had to struggle. But he's slowly finding his footing in BW.

As for Barun Sobti, it's again the case of the above two points. He didn't get the right script and the production house was comparatively unknown. That's why his supposed debut movie will never be launched. Hopefully, JA productions will work out.

For actors like Ronit Roy, they are getting the perfect roles and scripts for them. That's why they are shining even as supporting actors.

First of all...most of these 'mad' fans do have online presence...And as much as I can remember, he's one of the most popular and truly deserving actors in TV industry...honestly all actors on TV now are same...and the target audience too is same... typical indian teenage girls or women. All which happens in all these "blockbuster" shows is a bechari ladki with negative common sense and IQ, and a shrewd rich guy...!! and there's hardly any acting at all. However I remember rajeev in LRL...and though that too was an Indian show, it's much better in terms of acting and storyline. Rajeev is definitely one of the most deserving actors till now, but he need to chose movies carefully...!! Even a Khan can't make a movie like Aamir a superhit...and that's what he needs now...

Give a successful TV star a starkid type of launch and then only we can call someone a failure if that doesnt work.

rajeev does have critical acclaim... he might not be a commercially successful star but he is critically appreciated for his movies...and i think that is what he wants...he's always said he wants 2 be known as an actor rather than a star!

Rajeev Khandelwal is immensely underrated. All his movies, Aamir, Shaitan,soundtrack and Table no 21 had brilliant performances. He has done very serious and demanding roles with conviction. I dont know why they don't want to acknowledge his talent. If he comes back on tv even today, he would write new success stories.

Thank you so much for telling me. I googled chanakya..Apparently there is an old serial called Chanakya 🤓, so I googled further and found the serial you were referring to Chandra Gupta Maurya.

I only saw a bit but this actor, his name is Manish Wadhwa seems really good and has such excellent screen presence. He could be a great character actor like Nana Patekar. I wonder why he is not in films.

But thanks again, I will be watching Chandra Gupta Maurya this weekend ...
