It's been 6 movies since Rowdy Rathore for Akki & not even 1 movie is clean Hit / SuperHit / BB, except for OMG where he was supporting actor.

HOLIDAY is coming from Ghajini Director, 2nd hindi film, Akki-Sonakshi pair's 4th film, Does it have any chance of repeating BLOCKBUSTER Huge success of Rowdy Rathore?

It can. However, I personally don't think so.. unfortunately the trailers don't look promising. The music is kinda below-average. But there is Gabbar and Neeraj's next. These two can bring him back in the game.. and shut his haters up.

Ar murugados is a good director

if the remake is as good as thupakki it'll get 100cr+

plus it has no major clashes

and depending a little on its music also

The tamil version, Thuppakki (gun) is a super hit and I remember some rather good reviews too. Vijay is the hero, Vidyut the villain.Both just hit it out of the park If Sona's role is like the original, not even a flower pot, she just exists because they film needs a heroine. The biggest thing is the play between the hero and villain and that is what elevated the movie from the ordinary masala movie.

So it very much depends on the interaction between the hero (Akki) and the villain (?). If it has decent songs atm I say semi-hit, not a clean or a superhit like the tamil version.

I Watched Thuppaki for Vijay & Murgadoss, was bit disappointed in 2nd half... Here Villain is not matching upto Vidyut.

Only thing favoring this movie is POST IPL Release, when ppl r hungry for good action/masala movie, perfect timing.

But with Lame Trailer n not impressive 1st song, it has failed to live any kind of hype which was similar from Rowdy's trailer itself.

70-90 cr it should get easily, may be it can cross 100 cr if it is accepted by mass belt specially.
