Ajay Devgan is from Amritsar. He's a dark toned sikh and does a lot of Sikh roles like Bhagat Singh and Son of Sardar.😆

Also Poonam Dhillon and Rati Agnihotri are Sikh actresses.

Maybe I am just over analysising. Bollywood. Bawahahahahahha

If a person is a good actor it should no matter what religion they are.

Also I don't like Ranveer because he's Sikh. I found him entertaining before.

I just thought he was because of Singh but someone cleared up not all singhs are Sikh.

Also there are not many Sikhs in India anyway. It's one of the smaller relfions

However I don't like that song from 'vicky donor'

Rum and whiskey. It was just stupid.

Well yes they are , plus sikh religion is small and not as old as others as you know !! Btw i didnt take it personally, and you made me think a little on how many actors are sikh punjabi in general!!

@ bossman ok as thought he wasnt i get because hes mixed it gets mixed up, many people in india are..esp in punjabis many sikh punjabis marry hindu punjabis as an example so it gets mixed up and so on ... And ajay being sikh or not in this topic as well !!

Sikh's are always shown in a good light in Bollywood. People need to stop being so sensitive.

I've yet to see a Sikh villian in a Bollywood film.

They're always shown as righteous, brave and strong. Sure, there's a few comic characters thrown here and there but which community doesn't get stereotyped and made fun of?

No but they are joked alot and i have heard some getting annoyed seeing sardars or just punjabis (hindu or sikh) being constantly joked as being loud, drunk, illiterate etc..though me personally not care when its in a movie thts too entertain..to me singh is king i enjoyed a lot and thought nothing degrading at all, but some objected tht akshays beard being trimmed and his turban showed a bad light!!

And sunny deol whose movie joh bolo suniya haal was very much disliked because it depicted punjabis/sikhs in bad light, but again its just entertainment though movie was terrible !!

But yes not only punjabis other cultures too get sterotyped like patils owning business and being stingy and best to take it with a pinch salt then complaining

None of them are Sikhs though, I think. They may be Punjabi (which is a culture) but they're certainly not Sikh (religion). You're generally considered a Sikh if you actually practice the religion.
