Main Tera Hero had low collections on day eight as it grossed around 1.50 crore nett. The drop is around 75% which is good but that is mainly because of a low Friday.

The collections on day eight are similar to Ragini MMS 2and the lifetime business is looking to be on the lines of that film but the difference is that Main tera Hero is a more costly film. Ragini MMS 2 will do lifetime business a little short of 50 crore nett and that is probably where Main Tera Hero is heading..

Main Tera Hero has done well in Mumbai circuit grossing over 13 crore nett in week one which is more than Ragini MMS 2 despite its all India business being lower. The eight day has also seen out performance in Mumbai.

Pretty darn good. for a 2nd film with no big heroine + cricket clash + 40cr budget.

I swear if it was same budget as other SOTY stars second outing. It would have been clear hit but sadly Ekta throws too much on promotions. Like she did with SKSE & all last year's films

Average to Semi Hit I guess. Komal Nahta reported that the movie recovered 25cr from music, satellite etc...

^DUH. That's why he isn't a superstar yet 😆 Why just him? None of the newbies could beat Sunny's record so Hip Hip Hurray for her 🥳

Anyways, happy for Varun and for the film! 50cr. is no mean feat for a newbie especially under the circumstances with the cricket etc. Also happy for Ilu 😊 David Dhawan has done it again 😛 More than that, I'm happy the audience is liking Varun. He proved himself already in SOTY and now he's got MTH to add to his list. GO SEENU GO 🥳

agaya ek aur single screen star🤢 he lost his class he was classy in soty and prolly best of the soty kids now he is the worst.. hope he does some sensible films he shouldn't try to be salman or govinda he should try to ranbir kapoor classy ...50cr shows nothing Arjun kapoor grossed 40cr plus with his 1st solo film

Someone's got the burn despite it was the mass audience who made his fav a superstar overnight

I am a Arjun fan but we all know what Aurangzeb made 😆 being second film of his. Though I liked the movie

He wanted to show that he could do comedy and a challenging role as he always wanted to work with his father. Ranbir Kapoor has also done a Besharam which tried to be massy... I would even say he was trying to win over the single screen audience but it failed. I think stars should try a variety of stuff.. even massy movies to connect with all kinds of audience. I think you'll look forward to Sriram Raghavan's film with Varun where he's in a more serious role 😊
