Censor board says no to cleavage show in 'Xpose'

It seems that the censor board has its hands full with movies that are exposing too much of skin.

After blurring out Sunny Leone's cleavage show in 'Ragini MMS 2', the Central Board of Film Certification has asked makers of 'Xpose' to blur out Zoya Afroz's cleavage in a scene.

A Mid-Day report says that a particular scene in the movie where actress Zoya is in a bikini has run into trouble with the Censor Board. The Board has asked the filmmakers to blur her cleavage in this scene as they feel too much of skin is being exposed onscreen.

Quoting a source from the Censor Board, the report adds that there is another scene when a brand name has been used prominently. Hence, they have asked the filmmakers to blur the name too.

Speaking on the same, Rakesh Upadhyay, the film's creative producer, tells Mid-Day that skin show is subjective. He says what might work for one may not find favour by other. He says it is also difficult to justify such a scene in a three-minute promo.



The movie is about how the film industry functioned in the 1960s and 1970s. It stars Himesh Reshammiya, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Zoya Afroz. The film is slated to release on May 23.
