Not tragic but in many movies with love triangle, I always wanted the other gal or guy to win...😉

I wanted Karishma to get Srk in DTPH
I wanted Srk to get Suchitra Sen in KHKN
I wanted Salman to get Ash in HDDCS
I wanted Rani to get Srk in KKKG
I wished Preity forgave and accepted Srk and stayed happily with their son in KANK
I wanted Anushka to get Srk in JTHJ
I wanted Mahima with Arjun and Preity with Jimmy in DHT
I wanted Deepika to get Saif in Cocktail
I wanted Rajendra Kumar to get Vyjayanthi in Sangam

As for tragic endings, its the sad ending which has made most movies memorable as in A2, Raanjhana & esp Lootera... ❤️

I see many people criticizing Saawariya. Saawariya's flaw is the poor adaptation. SLB lost sight of the story in his glitz, gloss and blues. Otherwise the Dostoevsky short story "White Nights" makes complete sense and has a bittersweet ending.

Aashiqui 2' s ending was so illogical...They made it seem like there wasn't any way in the world to cure an alcoholic other than suicide... Why couldn't he just go to rehab... Instead, when he asks for Aarohi's help to cure him, she takes him on vacation, shaves his beard, and goes into song mode.. That was just stupid...

For Aashiqui 2, I think the ending made perfect sense. He was addicted to alcohol. She was addicted to him. She couldn't cure his addiction, but he could cure hers - by ending his life. I know, practically it makes no sense, but I like to look at these things from a symbolic viewpoint. She didn't love him, but she was addicted to him, just like he loved her, but his addiction was stronger. The reason I love this movie is because their story was not a "love story", but it shows what addiction can do to you. Even the song "Tum Hi Ho". Everyone makes it out to be so romantic but I see it as an addiction song. He's singing it to alcohol, she's singing it to him.
