IF this is true...because with the rumors I refuse to believe anything until I see actual filming rolling.

BUT, since this is SLB's dream project I am going to give him the benefit of doubt on this as in if anyone could make Kat ACT in a period role, he can. And certainly in his dream project magnum opus.

Who is SLB threatening and insulting?

Deepika has always been the first choice for the role of mastani. Ever since the rumours started ranveer and deepikas names were always among the front runners. Deepika seems to have a great friendship with SLB, so I don't see SLB threatening her in any way.

Deepika was asked during the harpers bazaar magazine launch a month ago about BM and she didn't confirm or deny that she was doing it, that showed that she was in talks for playing the role.

Again we have no official confirmation about the casts of shuddhi and BM. So let's just wait for that.

I don't think anyone is threatening & insulting anyone. Comments have been conveniently changed from "Deepika visit Ranveer because she love condom" to " Deepika visit Ranveer to discuss about this issue" after the article came out.. Don't believe everything you read. Another excuse to cover up her PR..

I don't think she would suit doing period films, she wouldn't be able to do justice in my opinion becos she is not a good actress... she isn't able to emote emotions that well IMO... maybe directors consider her becos they think she can pull in large crowds which she can...she's popular and a crowd puller... at times I feel she isn't selected for her acting abilities but more for her star power. but I could be wrong...only directors who choose her can better explain why they choose her over others.

honestly speaking I don't think any of the current actresses could do period films maybe bebo and vidya... but actresses like sonam, kat, alia I don't see them doing period movies. I know sonam did a non glamour role like raanjhana and she did do a good job of it but not sure if hard core period movies would be something she could do justice too🤔
