Yes K, Pukar was a good movie and as Anjali, Madhuri had done a good jolb.

But the film suffered the same problem as others - a weak ending. Wonder why the ending always plagues most of our good movies? 😕

I am actually surprised to see objections on Ghagra song..
To set the record straight' madhuri did not played a ProstitutE in it..
She was introduced as .Agray ki mashhuur Mughaniya-

And as pure urdu been my firstvlanguage, i want to share that .mughaniya- word means SingeR and its far away from being a pros.. mughaniya is a good positive word used to use for chaste classic singers in old times..
Also if a much older rekha can do a sexy item number 'paheli zindgani' then ghagra was only a funfilled comictype song.. not some vulgar item number at all... so, yeah.

she was actually introduced as agra ki azeem fankaara. here are the lyrics: Sahebaan, kadardaan, meharbaan

but she was a prostitute in it, the song took place in a brothel. and the dialogue inbetween her and ranbir where he says something about package rate. but theres nothing wrong in this. she's an actress. theres nothing wrong with playing a prostitiute. some people just have narrow minds.

Even if Madhuri played a prostitute in Ghagra song, her moves and antiqs were more dignified than those half-naked recent Bollywood actresses be it in Sheila or Munni or other 1000+ songs 👎🏼 Anyways, thanks for the topic, read some good stuffs in here abt Madz and Sri after long time <3..

I like Madhuri a lot, but her acting has never been her greatest strength to me. That does not mean she is not a good actress or I don't enjoy her acting. But for me, Madhuri means dancing. I am one who usually forwards the songs, in Madhuri movies I watch the songs more.
