Helen always came across as a balanced dignified and classy lady in her off screen image...no wonder she gets such respect from Salman and his siblings and I am guessing that Salman's Mom and Helen also share a decent relationship...a lot of that credit goes to helen too...otherwise the kids from the first wife usually don't have such a cordial relationship with their step Mom...

AGREED!

I heard from my grandparents the same too. People used to rush to the theaters many times just to watch a Helen number! It was a MUST to feature Helen's sexy pose in every of their movie posters. They used be like '' HELAN KA SONG DEKHNE AAYE HAI, KAB HOYEGA?'' 😉

Such was her audience-drawing starpower that many movies which were left in cans for years used to be BO HIT only after the addition of 1-2 Helen songs, eg, the song ''MUNGDA'' from a Hit B-grade movie ''Inkaar'' ⭐️

Even she used to paid more than many heroines, also heroes those days in her peak. The only dancer i'd say who lasted and ruled for more than 4 decades, from 50s-80s! 👏
